We all want happiness yet it's not uncommon, at some point in our lives, to feel stuck. Whether you need support, inspiration, healing, clarity, new skills and understandings, or direction, our work will be designed to address your specific needs and goals. Working together, we can clarify how you want your life to be different and identify the steps that will help you reach your goals. Ultimately, I hope to guide you to the relief you are seeking as well as jump-start your journey to living the life you desire most.
You are unique and our work will be tailored to you, meeting you where you are, without judgment or assumptions. I utilize person-centered, systemic models of therapy that take into account your world (i.e. relationships, work, family, culture) because it all impacts you, for better or worse.
I believe therapy works best when there are three elements present:
1. A highly skilled therapist
2. A motivated person
3. A collaborative, trusting relationship between the therapist and client(s)
I understand that making the decision to begin counseling can be difficult. My work is to make this process more comfortable. After all, therapy is about you! Building a positive, working relationship with people is of particular importance to me. If any of what I've written here speaks to you, call me and we will chat about the challenges you are facing today and the goals that matter most to you.
